Weekly Update: A Joyful Start to Session 2!
Welcome back, Acton Families! We hope everyone had a fantastic Fall Break and enjoyed some time to rest, recharge, and celebrate the season. Our Heroes have jumped right back into learning with curiosity, courage, and enthusiasm. Here’s a look at what each studio has been up to this week—and what’s coming next!
Primary Studio
This week in Primary, our Heroes were introduced to the continent of South America! We began exploring the Amazon Rainforest, discussing its three layers, unique climate, and the incredible animals that call it home.
To keep the fall spirit alive, learners also painted pumpkins and filled the studio with color and creativity!

Friday: Halloween Celebration – Heroes may come to school in costume! We’ll decorate treat bags and enjoy an on-campus Trunk or Treat.

ES Blue Studio
Our ES Blue Heroes kicked off Session 2 with a bang! We launched into our E-Ship Quest, where learners began exploring what motivates them to start a business based on their passions. A common theme in our studio was earning and saving money and protecting animals—such thoughtful and inspired ideas!
Heroes also worked diligently through their weekly planners to stay on track with their learning goals. Our word of the week was perseverance, and they truly demonstrated it in action.

ES Green Studio
Session 2, Week 1 began with enthusiasm and collaboration in ES Green! Heroes took time to get organized for the new session, setting fresh goals and re-engaging with Acton systems.
The studio was buzzing with teamwork as they began planning and practicing the Halloween Haunted House for next Friday—a tradition that always brings creativity, courage, and a few fun scares! 👻
It’s shaping up to be a productive and inspiring session ahead.
🏕️ Upper Levels Studio
What an eventful start to the session! Our Upper Level Heroes kicked off with an unforgettable campout, building teamwork, independence, and courage while connecting as a tribe.
Back in the studio, they dove into their Investing Quest, exploring the world of stocks, compounding interest, and the fascinating balance between the good and evil of credit cards. The conversations have been insightful and full of real-world application.
It’s been a wonderful first week back, and we’re so proud of the focus, creativity, and curiosity shining in every studio. Thank you for your continued support—we’re looking forward to another amazing week of learning and adventure ahead!
