Weekly Update: Curiosity, Creativity, and Courage!

Happy Friday, Acton Families!

It’s been another joyful and productive week across all of our studios — filled with hands-on learning, teamwork, and fun fall celebrations. Here’s what our Heroes have been up to as October comes to a close!

Primary Studio

This week in Primary, our Heroes continued their journey through South America! We finished Book #6 of The Magic Treehouse series — Afternoon in the Amazon and discovered so many amazing facts:

  • South America has the world’s driest desert,

  • the longest mountain range,

  • the largest rainforest, and

  • the favorite sport is soccer!

We’ve also been taking advantage of the beautiful fall weather with extra outdoor playtime before the colder days arrive. The studio continues to buzz with laughter, learning, and wonder!

ES Blue Studio

Our ES Blue Heroes dove deep into the E-Ship Quest this week, learning how to conduct surveys and discover what their customers truly want. They’ve shown incredible curiosity and creativity while developing their business ideas.

Spirit Week was a big hit — our learners had so much fun dressing up and showing off their unique personalities! They’ve even been adding Australian words to their vocabulary this week, which has made for some funny conversations!

Heroes have been hard at work finishing their weekly planners and reflecting on what it takes to meet their goals each week. Perseverance and focus are shining bright in Blue Studio!

ES Green Studio

This week, ES Green Heroes took a deep dive into marketing as part of their business projects. They brainstormed creative ways to understand their customers’ needs, designed surveys, and explored different marketing strategies to reach their audience.

Their teamwork, focus, and willingness to think like real entrepreneurs have been so inspiring to see. The energy in Green Studio is unstoppable!

💰Upper Levels Studio

Our Upper Level learners continued their Investing Quest, exploring the relationship between risk and reward and learning how every financial decision involves balancing potential gains with uncertainty.

They also began their Genre Research Project, reflecting on the question:
💭 “What does money mean to me?”

This project has sparked deep discussions about value, purpose, and personal responsibility, encouraging Heroes to connect their learning to real-world meaning.

Upcoming

Stay tuned for next week’s updates — we have lots of exciting things coming up in November!
Wishing all our families a safe and happy Halloween weekend! 👻🎃
