Weekly Update – Happy March!

We are excited to welcome a new month and the promise of spring right around the corner!

Primary Studio

This week we celebrated the 100th Day of School with some incredibly cute and creative costumes from our heroes! It was so much fun to see all the imaginative ways learners marked the milestone.

We have also continued exploring the continent of Africa through books, toys, and real photographs from an African safari. The learners have been curious and excited to learn more about the animals and landscapes of this incredible continent.

Yesterday, the Primary heroes proudly won the trophy in the Three-Legged Race against ES Blue, ES Green, and Upper Levels! 🏆 The teamwork and determination were amazing to watch.

ES Blue

This week has flown by in ES Blue! The learners have been working hard and everyone earned Fun Day Friday—great job showing focus and perseverance.

We missed several friends who were out sick this week and hope everyone is feeling better soon.

A big highlight of the week was our water filtration challenge. Learners designed their own filtration systems and successfully created super clear water through their experiments. It was a fun and hands-on way to learn about problem-solving and science.

ES Green

Water was also a big theme for the ES Green heroes this week! They joined forces with the ES Blue studio to explore the water cycle and the importance of clean water by building their own water filtration systems.

To wrap up the week, the heroes enjoyed some water balloon fun during Fun Day Friday, celebrating their hard work and teamwork.

Upper Levels

Upper Levels had an incredibly eventful and exciting week. Learners explored the ins and outs of breadboards, circuits, lights, and capacitors, diving into the fundamentals of electricity through hands-on experimentation.

They also connected science concepts by combining Newton’s Third Law of Motion with electricity to build and launch light-up rockets—a definite highlight of the week!

The studio also finalized plans for their end-of-year trip to Port Aransas, giving everyone something exciting to work toward. To keep the momentum going, the learners set a goal for next week: earn a Movie & Snack Thursday through strong focus and teamwork.
