Weekly Update: Learning, Celebrations, and Community

Happy Friday, Acton Families!

What an amazing week across our studios—filled with joy, learning, creativity, and a few extra celebrations! Here’s a peek at what your Heroes have been up to:

🍂 Primary Studio – Happy Fall!

This week brought cooler temperatures, extra outdoor play, and plenty of joy and laughter! Indoors, our Heroes enjoyed math games, tracing numbers and letters during circle time, and continued reading the Magic Treehouse series—we’re already on Book #4! 📚

Although rainy weather postponed some of our fall projects, the Heroes collected beautiful fall leaves around campus and had our first epic dance party! 💃🍁

💡 ES Blue Studio

Wow—this week flew by! Our ES Blue Heroes focused on time management and goal completion as they worked toward earning Fun Day Friday. They had thoughtful discussions about the power of “yet” and continued drafting their Pitch a Field Trip proposals (we can’t wait to see which one gets chosen!).

We also celebrated Zander’s birthday 🎉 and wrapped up the week with a Taco and Balloon party—the perfect way to celebrate their hard work!

🤝 ES Green Studio

The Green Heroes showed incredible collaboration and problem-solving this week as they put the finishing touches on their Build a Tribe creative projects. They also completed their Conflict Resolution System and posted it on the wall, alongside their No-Go’s, to help create a safe, peaceful, and supportive learning environment.

🍲 Upper Levels Studio

Upper Levels had another exciting and enriching week! During our Cooking Quest, Heroes stirred creativity by experimenting with soups and stews—perfect for fall. In Civilization, they traveled back in time to explore ancient civilizations, examining geography, culture, and systems of government. The week ended with a lively debate over Hammurabi’s Code—a fantastic mix of critical thinking and fun!
