Weekly Update: New Friends,New Quests and New Fun!

I hope you all had a fantastic break last week! It was wonderful to welcome everyone back to campus.

Primary Studio

This week, we welcomed a new learner to our studio! Emmarie, a kind and thoughtful 5-year-old, has acclimated beautifully to her new environment. We are so happy to have her join our community.

We also began reading Book #14, Vacation Under the Volcano, from the Magic Tree House series, and celebrated our first Show & Tell when a learner earned their very first Freedom Card—such an exciting milestone!

Next week, we will begin exploring the continent of Africa, and we can’t wait to dive into learning about its cultures, animals, and geography.

ES Blue

ES Blue kicked off the week with one last chance to play the games they created. Learners also began their Survivor Quest, starting with the challenge of building rat traps. Challenging work is back in full swing, and the determination is real as learners focus on completing their work so they can participate in Fun Day Friday.

ES Green

This week, the ES Green heroes took ownership of the cottage by collaborating and making final decisions on creative experiences, including creating a video for the Upper Level Sing-Off.

They also worked on getting organized for the new session by:

  • Setting Session Goals

  • Adjusting their Running Teams strategy

  • Taking responsibility for planning and teamwork
