Weekly Update:Welcome Back & Winter Adventures Ahead!
I hope you all had a warm and wonderful Thanksgiving break. We are excited to be back together and diving into new learning across all studios!
Primary Studio
This week, the Primary heroes were introduced to the continent of Europe! We also explored the North and South Poles, learning that they are the coldest places on Earth and discussing what makes these regions unique.
Since it has been especially chilly this week, please ensure your child comes to school dressed warmly—including winter coats, hats, and gloves. If your child is missing any of these items, please let me know; I am happy to help provide them.
Because of the short session, I will not be sending out a meeting schedule before the break. If you have questions or concerns you'd like to discuss, feel free to reach out and I’ll gladly find a time to meet. Our next scheduled meetings and “Work With Me” opportunities will take place the first week of February.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend—and stay warm!
ES Blue Studio
ES Blue had a busy and exciting first week back! We launched our Cartography Quest, and the heroes began exploring maps and places around the world. They chose to start with Australia, inspired by Ms. Amy’s roots!
Some fun highlights:
- Learning quirky Australian facts—especially about wombat poop
- Dancing the Wombat Wobble
- Preparing eagerly for the Children’s Business Fair tonight!
We cannot wait to see everyone there and celebrate the learners’ creativity and hard work!
ES Green Studio
The ES Green Heroes jumped right into Session 3 with enthusiasm, collaborating to plan a Holiday Event for the studio. This week also included:
- Teamwork and problem-solving during a Town Hall Meeting
- Brainstorming ways to add more value to the tribe community
Their leadership and initiative have been beautiful to watchUpper Levels
Upper Levels kicked off Session 3 by entering the McCarthy Trials, examining the broader context of the Cold War. This deep dive into history has sparked thoughtful discussion and critical thinking.
Learners also launched their new Gratitude Genre Project, which has already led to meaningful reflections and heartfelt conversations—an inspiring blend of academic and personal growth.
